Khaled Youssef reveals truth about faking problems in filming.

Egyptian director Khaled Youssef spoke to the Arab Wood program, broadcast on Rotana TV channels, expressing his happiness to work with Zeina once again in his new film “The Alexandrian,” after working with her in “Karma” in 2018. He also denied rumors about Zeina causing problems on set, and praised her dedication to her work. Youssef also said he wishes to work with actor Yehia El-Fakharany, whom he considers one of the five giants in the history of Egyptian cinema. Youssef also discussed his upcoming film “The Alexandrian,” which is based on a script by the late Osama Anwar Okasha, saying it features Ahmed El Awady as the lead and would be a launching pad for the actor's stardom. Youssef denied rumors about having controversial scenes in his films, saying the term “controversial” is often associated with his name. Youssef also gave his opinion on working on television series, saying that it requires a lot of effort and that he would only return to producing a TV series under certain specifications. “The Alexandrian” also features actors Mohamed Radwan, Intisar, Hussein Fahmy, Salah Abdullah, Mahmoud Lehety, and Mahmoud Hafez, among others.
