The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, has announced the launch of the "Happiness Makers 2" initiative, aimed at promoting and supporting innovation and creativity in the entertainment, cultural, social, and sports fields. The goal is to increase awareness and improve the quality of life in the Kingdom. The initiative is part of the General Entertainment Authority's efforts to contribute to the development of entertainment sectors and improve the quality of life in Saudi Arabia. It emphasizes the importance of the entertainment sector in moving towards a better future and providing a diverse and exciting living environment. The "Happiness Makers 2" initiative includes a range of educational, training, and development programs, including a Diploma Program in the entertainment sector, which is offered by the Saudi Academy for Entertainment in collaboration with the French University of Cote d'Azur, with the support of the General Entertainment Authority and the Human Resources Development Fund. This initiative follows the success of the "Happiness Makers" initiative launched by the General Entertainment Authority in 2021, which witnessed wide participation from young people and those interested in entertainment and creativity. The aim is to qualify and train human resources specialized in the entertainment sector to enable Saudi competencies to fill specialized positions in the sector as part of its strategy that focuses on developing and qualifying local cadres.
