Samer Ismail shines in Saudi Arabia and the world again.

The film "Tishilou" based on the novel by Turki Al Sheikh, has been a major success in Arab and international cinemas since its release on September 14th, following the private screening held in Riyadh on September 9th. The film stars Syrian actor Samer Ismail, who appears in large scenes alongside Oscar winner Jeremy Irons and Saw star Tobin Bell, under the directorship of Hollywood's Darren Lynn Bousman. The film is a horror movie and was shot in Riyadh, Al-Ula, and Prague. Ismail is joined in the cast by other actors, including Haya Al-Hamdi, Mila Al-Zahrani, Guest Stars Suad Abdullah, and Ghassan Massoud. "Tishilou" marks Ismail's second cinematic experiment following his film "The Day I Lost My Shadow", that won an award at the Venice Festival and was screened at many other international film festivals. The film features Samer in both Arabic and English languages and has succeeded in becoming the first Saudi film to achieve high box office returns. Ismail is beloved in the Arab and Gulf countries, particularly in his well-known roles as Umar bin Al-Khattab in the series "Umar", and as Jameel in the play "Jameel and Buthaynah". This film is yet another highlight in his acting career.
