Saudi Arabia's entertainment authority has announced that football star Cristiano Ronaldo will be an ambassador for the fourth edition of the Riyadh Season event in 2023. The tournament will feature three teams playing a league and international matches. The opening game will be between Saudi teams Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. Ronaldo's image will also be featured in Riyadh’s museum, which will hold a collection of more than 30,000 rare items tracing his life and every personal trophy and award. The display will be the first branch of the museum outside Madrid and will be designed in a contemporary style. The aim is to attract visitors and promote Saudi Arabia in international markets. The entertainment authority will also host historical tennis matches involving the world’s highest-ranked players during the tournament.
