Lebanese singer Nawal El Zoghbi has made peace with Egyptian singer Mohamed Ramadan at the 2023 Murex d'Or festival at the Casino du Liban. The timing of the reconciliation reflects El Zoghbi's recent win for Best Lebanese Singing Star and Best Meaningful Song. Ramadan was awarded Best Arab Actor for his role in the Egyptian drama series Jafar Al Amada at the same event. The disagreement between the two singers began when El Zoghbi refused to consider collaboration with Ramadan. He retaliated by posting a video of his song Number One on his official Instagram account.
