Red Sea Film Festival showcases five films at Toronto International Film Festival.

The Red Sea International Film Foundation will participate in the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) by showcasing five films from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, and Africa. The films shed light on stories from these regions and have won awards at international film festivals. TIFF is one of the largest film festivals that includes exhibitions, discussions, workshops, and events. The event provides a professional development platform for filmmakers and an opportunity for them to interact and exchange experience with industry specialists from around the world. One film supported by the Red Sea Fund, "Nightshift Representative," was categorized in the "Discovery program" and received significant acclaim. It tells the story of a ride-sharing app driver in Riyadh who gets himself involved in illegal adventures to cover his father's medical expenses. The Red Sea Fund also supported other films, including "Penguin Bloom" and "Insha' Allah."
