Tamer Hosny leads donation campaign for Libyan and Moroccan people.

Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny has started a donation campaign to support both the Moroccan and Libyan people. Hosny invited his fans to volunteer and support the Moroccan and Libyan Red Crescent Society on behalf of the Egyptian people and Egyptian Red Crescent. He and his fans are preparing and packaging aid shipments, as well as offering morale support to all Egyptian volunteers. On an Instagram post, Hosny offered his condolences to the Libyan people, following an earthquake that struck the country. Meanwhile, Moroccan authorities and foreign teams continue to work to rescue people trapped under the rubble of buildings following a 7-magnitude earthquake. The disaster has left nearly 9,000 people dead or injured, according to unofficial statistics. Earlier, Hurricane Daniel caused substantial material damage to Libya's villages and cities, as well as flooding the streets. The Libyan government declared regions to be disaster zones and its authorities began taking necessary measures to deal with the rain caused by the hurricane. The storm is understood to have originated in Greece and may later reach western Egypt.
