Toronto International Film Festival 48th edition kicks off.

The Toronto International Film Festival has begun its 48th edition with the opening animated feature film, "The Boy and the Heron" by director Hayao Miyazaki. The festival will feature 199 films from around the world, including 45 Canadian films. Despite labor disruptions, ticket sales have been strong. Other notable films include "The Dead Don't Hurt" starring Viggo Mortensen, "Knox Goes Away" by Michael Keaton, and the horror drama "Dream Scenario". The festival runs until September 17th.
