Arab Wood program broadcasted a video of the artist Kazem Al-Saher while he was receiving condolences for the late poet Karim Al-Iraqi. Al-Saher attended the condolences in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates where several other celebrities were also present. Karim Al-Iraqi, a famous Iraqi popular poetry writer, died at the age of 68 in a hospital in Abu Dhabi due to illness. The poet's name was associated with famous Iraqi singers such as Kazem Al-Saher, Saadoun Jaber, Yas Khudr, and Rida Al-Khayyat, and his death was mourned by many in the Arab world. Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, also mourned the poet, thanking him for leaving a significant impact on the artistic memory of the Iraqis. Al-Kadhimi asked the Ministry of Transport to complete the necessary procedures to transport the poet's body to Iraq. Karim Al-Iraqi, born in Baghdad in 1955, came from a family from the south of Iraq and was known for his diverse literary, artistic, and journalistic interests. He wrote hundreds of songs that were performed by many famous Arab singers. However, his name was especially associated with his long collaboration with the Iraqi singer Kazem Al-Saher who sang dozens of Al-Iraqi's songs such as "My Love," "I Went to the Sea," and "The Tyrant."
