The upcoming Arabic film "Ahl al-Kahf" has released a new poster ahead of its expected release in the summer of 2024. The film, produced by Mohamed Rashidi and directed by Amr Arafa, has recently finished filming its exterior and final scenes in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh. The film's writer, Ayman Bahgat Qamar, has described the production as "difficult," as the preparation took about five years and involved making changes to the original script until the last day of filming. The plot is set in an ancient historical period that reflects the struggle of humanity with time, and follows three characters who are resurrected and sent back to life. The film stars Khaled El-Nabawy, Mohamed Mamdouh, Mohamed Farag, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Mahmoud Hemida, Ghada Adel, Reem Mustafa, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Rashwan Tawfiq, and Hagar Ahmed. The film had faced production issues that threatened its cancellation, but Rashidi's determination and commitment to completing the production led to its success.
