American actress Gayle Hunnicutt has died at the age of 80. Hunnicutt was best known for her role in the TV series "Dallas" and had a successful career in both theatre and film. She was discovered by Warner Bros while studying in California and went on to star in a number of productions, including "Wild England" and "Sherlock Holmes". Outside of acting, Hunnicutt was also an author. Her first book, "Health and Beauty in Motherhood" was published in 1984, while her most recent work was a collection of love letters from her father.
