Egyptian singer and actor Mostafa Amar has stated that he does not support his daughter's decision to enter the acting industry.

Mustafa Amar, the Egyptian singer and actor, has stated that he does not want his daughter to become an actress. He expressed his desire for her to become a cosmetic or dental surgeon instead during a recent interview. Amar also spoke about his daughter’s personality and how independent she is, noting that she is very similar to him. Additionally, he discussed the effort he put into preparing the songs for his new film, “Awlad Harim Karim,” which had its premiere in Cairo and Alexandria with the presence of many of the film’s stars, including Dalia El Behery, Basma, and Ola Ghanem. The film is a sequel to the 2005 original and tells the story of Karim, who turns to his university friends, played by El Behery, Basma, and Ghanem, to help him patch up his marital problems, but things take a turn for the worse, resulting in the destruction of their lives and their involvement in causing problems with his wife. The cast includes Mustafa Amar, Dalia El Behery, Basma, Ola Ghanem, Khaled Serhan, and Amr Abdelgelil, among others. The script was written by Zeinab Aziz and directed by Ali Idris.
