Egyptian singer Angham revealed in an emotional interview that she suffered from depression and contemplated committing suicide in the past, but sought help and overcame her struggles.

Egyptian singer Angham has discussed personal and family aspects of her life in an interview with ABtalk hosted by Anas Bukhash. Angham spoke about the difficulties she faced during her childhood, revealing that she had to learn music from the age of six and would often play the piano with cold hands. She also talked about the struggles of her family and the challenges of growing up in a troubled household. Angham mentioned a difficult moment when her father hit her mother, and how it transformed her perception of him. She also revealed that her sister’s death was one of the hardest moments of her life. However, Angham denied intentionally causing a rift between her and her sister. In addition, she acknowledged that there was a significant age gap between them, with her sister being 16 years younger, but she described her as more of a daughter than a sibling.
