The new TV series "The Giza Killer" has premiered in Egypt, based on real-life crimes committed between 2015 and 2017 by the real "Giza Killer" who was sentenced to death in 2021 for deliberately killing four people, including his wife. The series is directed by Hadi El Bagoury and stars popular Egyptian actor Ahmed Fahmy, who plays multiple characters that are all connected to the killer. The story follows a man who finds himself caught in a web of deceit and murder, including seven love stories, four lives, three murders, and one killer. The series has gained traction on social media, with the hashtag #TheGizaKiller trending after the first two episodes aired. The show took two years to prepare and also features actors Bassam Samra, Salah Abdullah, Heidy Khaled, and Hanan Youssef.
