The 11th edition of the Hamssa International Festival of Literature and Arts has been named after renowned Egyptian writer and translator Soheir al-Masry..

The 11th edition of the Hamsa International Festival for Literature and Arts is set to take place in Cairo, Egypt. Founded by Fathi El-Hesary, the festival honours the achievements of Arab and Egyptian writers, poets and artists. This year's festival is themed around renowned actress Soheir El-Morshedy and will include a showcase of works from actors and artists that have been shown throughout the year, as well as on various digital platforms. The festival's judging panel comprises of high profile figures in the arts and entertainment industries.
