The General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia held a concert called "Night of Tears" on August 24th, featuring a group of singers known for their sad songs. Among the artists performing were Tamer Ashour, Ahmed Saad, Hamada Helal, Tarek Al-Sheikh, Muslim, and Ahmed Kamel, led by Maestro Hani Farahat. There was also a surprise appearance by Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, who performed for an hour during the concert. The show began with a performance by the choir "Ruh Al-Sharq," which sang some of the most popular sad songs of recent years. Each of the artists performed some of their most famous sad songs, including Ahmed Kamel's "On My Eyes I See You" and "Salemeli Ala Elli Bena," Muslim's "Heart in Notebooks," and Tarek Al-Sheikh's "My Life's Book." Haitham Shaker sang some of his sad songs, including "Mafish Ba'ad Baynassi" and "Mosh Qader," while Adam performed his hit song "Khalas Al-Hikaya." Tamer Ashour also sang some of his well-known songs, including "Ana Hagi Ala Nafsi" and "Kallamoha 'Anni," and sang a duet with Ahmed Saad composed by the chairman of the authority, Turki Al Sheikh, called "Tammallee." Ahmed Saad also performed a number of his songs, including "Selt Nafsi Katir" and "Kalamy Entaheya," while Hamada Helal sang his famous song "Dayman Damoua." The concert also featured many other performances, including performances by Egyptian actors Mohy Ismail and Mohamed Gamal.
