Famed Egyptian composer Omar Khairat withdrew from performing at the fifth Egyptian National Youth Conference after being criticized for his participation in the event.

Egyptian musician Omar Khairat announced his withdrawal from the fifth gathering of the theatre. Khairat cited poor organization from the event’s organizers as the reason for his withdrawal. According to the artist’s team, the incident occurred due to “unforeseen circumstances” after the primary contractor engaged a unreliable company to manage the logistical services for the concert without their knowledge. The lack of security presence caused chaos and disorder, making it difficult for the performer to entertain his audience. Although scheduled to start at 8:30 pm, people began showing up at the gates as early as 6 pm, and the lines of people became so long that they needed to call for more seats. The organizing company X-Creavation apologized for the event. They are taking full responsibility for the lack of organization, adding that their role is limited to marketing the event and assisting the main organizer. The organizing company also announced that they would take legal action against anyone who attacked them on social media. Omar Khairat is an Egyptian musician and keyboardist born in Cairo in 1961, considered one of the most famous musicians in the Middle East. He has many successful and distinctive works in the music industry and has received several awards and honors. Khairat was also behind the distribution of the music of the famous film “Omar and Salma” and the movie “Weshem Hob.”
