Lebanese singer Elissa has responded to YouTube removing her latest song "Ala Akhed" due to copyright issues related to production company Watari. Elissa tweeted that her contract with Watari had already expired but that the company had been able to stop the video being posted based on a previous contract. The move follows an ongoing dispute between Elissa and Watari over her latest album's distribution rights. The song "Ala Akhed" was created in collaboration with songwriter Ayman Bahgat Amar, music composer Mohamad Yahya, and music producer Ghalal Hamadawi.
