Britney Spears, the American singer, officially announced her separation from her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, following a long relationship that lasted for several years. The 39-year-old star confirmed that she was shocked by the transformation that happened in their relationship, pointing out that she now expects to do new things in her life. Spears posted a video expressing her separation through her social media accounts, writing: "As everyone knows, Sam and I are no longer together.. 6 years is a long time to be with someone, so, I'm a little shocked, but not here to explain why," adding: "But I couldn't take the pain anymore, sincerely." She continued: "I'd love to show you guys my emotions and tears, but for some reason, I've always had to hide my breasts, when you're loved without any condition, it's supposed to be frees and without constraints." Spears concluded her message saying: "So I will be strong as much as I can, I will do my best.. and I'm actually doing very well." This is the first clarification provided by Spears about the separation, as she had previously faced widespread criticism for her previous relationship with her former business manager, due to a court order preventing her from getting married or having children because of her father's guardianship over her, who is in a health crisis.
