"Jhar Al-Fanar" (The Mouse Hole) debuted at the 8th edition of the Oman International Film Festival.

The film "Mouse Hole" by director Mohamed Samman had its international debut at the 4th edition of the Amman International Film Festival in Jordan. The film, in competition with other Arab long feature films, tells the story of a young woman named Khaloud who goes against her principles to obtain seven thousand pounds to secure her family's stability. The film stars Rana Khatab, Mohamed Yurka, Kamal El-Asnawi, and Hanan Helmy and was written, directed, and produced by Mohamed Samman. Samman is an Egyptian writer, director, and member of the Egyptian Cinema Syndicate, who has produced many award-winning films, such as "The Shooting House" and "It Happened Already."
