The second edition of the Cairo Drama Festival is set to take place in Alamein in one day soon, after the success of the first edition last year in Cairo. During the press conference, actress Ilham Shaheen suggested that there should be a prize for the work that promotes tourism in Egypt. She also urged artists to focus on showing the beautiful places in Egypt, including the Nile, the Pyramids, museums, other great places that we are proud of, including religious sites. During the event, members of the judging panel were also announced including Karim Abdel Aziz, Abdulrahim Kamal, critic Tarek El-Shenawy, and director Jamal Abdel Hamid. The festival celebrates the 60th anniversary of drama in North Square Mall in Alamein.
