Egyptian film "Marai al-Beromi" has broken the barrier of 10 million Egyptian pounds in box office sales

The film "Marei Al-Bremo" starring Egyptian actor Mohamed Henedy has surpassed LE 10 million in earnings in just 10 days at the box office. The film collected LE 10.5 million according to a report issued by the distributor responsible for the distribution in the cinema industry. In its first week, the film collected LE 8.1 million and the earnings increased in the second week with LE 668,000 on Wednesday, LE 783,000 on Thursday, and LE 941,000 on Friday. The comedy film tells the story of Marei, a watermelon seller who gets entangled with a gang smuggling diamonds inside the watermelons. The film was directed by Said Hamed and it starred a group of famous actors including Henedy himself, Ghada Adel, Alaa Morsi, Mohamed Mahmoud, Mustafa Abu Saree, Nancy Salah, and Ahmed Sultan, in addition to veteran actor Ahmed Bedeir. The film marks Henedy's return to the cinema after his last film "Weld Al-Ghalaba" was released in 2018, and it proves that he is still a leading star in the Egyptian entertainment industry.
