The Oman Film Festival announced the participation of eight films in the Arab long feature films competition.

The organizing committee of the Amman International Film Festival announced the list of films participating in the 4th edition, which will take place from August 15th to 22nd. The festival will feature eight Arab films in the long narrative category that are made by directors from Iraq, Algeria, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, and Egypt. The selected films include Hanging Gardens from Iraq, The Last One from Algeria, Land of Illusion directed by Carlos Shahin from Lebanon, Formes by Youssef Chebbi from Tunisia, Queens, Summer in Bajeddah from Morocco, Alam by Firas Khoury from Palestine, and The Rat Hole from Egypt. The latter depicts the story of a girl named Khuloud, who works in a charity donations office and needs to pay the down payment for her family's new house. She makes a deal with her manager that she will collect a large amount of donations by the end of the day in exchange for the money she needs.
