Today marks the second anniversary of the death of Egyptian actress and artist Dalal Abdelaziz, who passed away after a struggle with a viral illness. Her daughter, Dunya, shared emotional photos and words of remembrance on Instagram. In April 2021, Abdelaziz was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19, and although she recovered, complications affected her body and she needed oxygen to continue breathing. Her condition slowly deteriorated, but at times it stabilized. Abdelaziz was not aware of her husband Samir Ghanem's death and passed away without knowledge of it. Nevertheless, she felt that a tragedy had befallen her "life partner," calling out his name and requesting to see him repeatedly.
