Ragheb Alama was crowned Star of Carthage in a historic night attended by thousands.

Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama celebrated a special night as part of the 57th edition of the legendary Carthage Festival in Tunisia. The festival management had announced the ticket sell-out days before the concert and the crowd was full of Tunisian fans who eagerly awaited Alama's arrival to witness his sixth performance on the Carthage Festival stage. Alama was awarded a plaque of recognition for being a "Carthage Star" as well as a Tunisian national dress. The concert included a collection of his iconic songs, and the highlight of the night was when the audience took over the performance of his famous song "Qalbi A'chakouh" and Alama enjoyed listening to them. The night was a momentous occasion in his artistic career after his performances at the El Alamein Music Festival in Egypt and the Jerash Festival in Jordan, before the Carthage Festival. He is now preparing for his American tour, which will include a number of concerts in various states throughout September.
