Lebanese singer Elissa performed at the New Alamein Festival in Egypt, singing a tribute to Dalida as well as songs from her own catalogue.

The festival, running throughout the summer, is hosting multiple concerts by Arab stars such as Tamer Hosny, Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Mohamed Mounir, Hamid El Shaeri, Carol Samaha, Bahaa Sultan, and Myriam Fares, as well as international rapper Russ. The festival also includes sports tournaments, exhibitions, and entertainment shows, making it the largest entertainment event in the Middle East.
