The Red Sea Fund and Film AlUla have partnered to offer a production grant to filmmakers interested in creating projects set in the scenic landscape of AlUla. The grant will also support the development of a well-rounded film sector in AlUla by offering financial, logistical, and administrative assistance to at least ten projects from Saudi Arabia, the Arab region, and Africa. The initiative will allow filmmakers to complete a portion of filming in the unique AlUla landscape while showcasing the country's diversity. Since its launch in 2021, the Red Sea Film Fund has supported over 170 films, and winners have been featured in the official selection for this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
