Society's Enemy
Baghdadi is a straight worker, working in a blacksmithing factory owned by Maalem Mabrouk. He is dismissed from his job at the instigation of the foreman, who wants a royalty from him. He lives a life of need and destitution with his wife and daughter, which makes him think of stealing, but in his first experience with theft, the event leads him to commit murder.

Mr. Omar
Jaber (Naguib Al-Rayhani) works as an employee in Omar Al-Alfy's estate, and is expelled from his job after he discovers a lot of manipulation and forgery in the estate's revenues and expenses. After he travels to Cairo in search of work, pure coincidence leads him to reach the home of Omar Al-Alfi's family, which prompts family members to think that he is their long-absent son (Omar) due to the great similarity between them.
