An Egyptian actor and author of Turkish origin. He started his artistic career when he was old, as he was a police officer, then was dismissed due to an eye injury. He later joined...Read more several theater troupes, including the Ramses Troupe, and Fatima Rushdi Troupe. His cinematic debut was through the movie Shaloom the Translator (1935),which he wrote and acted in. He joined Ismail Yassine Theater in 1954. He acted in cinema, television and theater, and among the most prominent of his roles are in Miss Devil, The Nightingale's Prayer, and Melody of Devotion. He passed away in 1971.
