After joining Studio Misr in 1945, he worked as an AD to several directors such as Helmy Rafla, Zohair Bakir, and Kamal Atteya...Read more in films like The Gypsy, and Qays & Laila. His directing credits include The Killing Game (1994),which he also produced, and The Car Thief (1986). He died on 19 January 2002.
