A social drama that follows the life of Walid who gets released after spending 10 years in prison. His release unleashes past memories and traumas that the mother and the siblings have lived through, especially after the father left to take another wife.

The series tackles the Kuwaiti woman s struggle over decades, from the 60s till the present time, through a number of events, mainly the story of the open minded Rashid who marries Sheikha, who was brought up in a conservative environment, as she begins to go through many transformations in her life.
