A writer and journalist, born on February 21, 1930. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1954. He worked as a journalist at Dar Al-Hilal in 1958 and progressed in his work until he...Read more reached the editor-in-chief of Al-Kawakeb magazine. He wrote in Al-Wafd newspaper a satirical weekly article entitled “Hammariat”. He wrote several plays, most notably The Apple and the Skull, based on the novel of the satirical author Muhammad Afifi in 1969. He co-wrote some films, in which he also co-starred, including Fat Cats, and Tears in Laughing Eyes. Among his books are The Shock of Nudity and God's Chosen People. He passed away on October 6, 2003.

Ramzy works as a servant in a hotel and supports his family, and as a result of the increasing financial burdens on him, he resorts to stealing money from one of the hotel's customers and fleeing with it. When he is pursued by the police, he hides in a restaurant and decides to stay there until the situation calms down. After a while, he discovers the intention of the restaurant owner's wife and her plans to get rid of her husband.
