She worked in cinema, television and theatre. She retired from acting after her marriage in 1991 at the request of her husband, but her marriage lasted only 3 years. She decided to leave Egypt and work in one of the Gulf countries. She returned to art in 2012 after a long hiatus, with the Omani series The World and Religion directed by Adel Al-Aasar.
