Between Heaven and Earth
A variety of different people who don't know each other get trapped in a hung elevator. When they begin to realize that their chance in being rescued is minimal, they start looking back at their lives differently. Meanwhile, a man is trying to commit suicide by jumping off the roof of the same building.

The Stranger
Hajj Kamel is sheltering and raising one of the orphaned children in his home, and while Hajj’s son harbors hostility towards him, his sister Yasmine loves him. Otherwise, after the death of Hajj, the boy begins to care for Yasmine, but her brother asks her to stay away from him.

Message from an Unknown Woman
Ahmed Sameh is a singer known for his many relationships with women, but his neighbor Amal loves him, and he does not know how she feels about him, until he meets her by chance and has an illegal relationship with her. She becomes pregnant from him and does not tell him, but he forgets her after that. Amal raises her son with the help of her aunt and Professor Saeed because he loves her. The latter advises her to forget this distracted singer because he does not deserve her, but she does not forget his love, so she decides to send him a letter with the biggest secret in his life.

The Open Door
Layla (Faten Hamama) tries to join the ongoing protests against King Farouk's reign. She falls in love with her cousin, but discovers that he doesn't differ a lot from her father. She then meets her brother's patriotic friend and gets attracted to him, but social and political unrest surround the setting , a midst which Faten decides to search for her true identity.

For My Love
Famous musician Wahid travels with his wife Wafa to Marsa Matrouh. Wafa is attached to a child but he drowns. She becomes traumatized, leading to getting paralyzed. Wahid spends all his time beside her, while Wafa s neighbor, Elham loves Wahid in silence till he finally gives in to her.
