Egyptian actress Abeer Sabry has had to be hospitalized due to a health problem. While she was in the hospital, she posted pictures to Instagram. She is excited for the release of the film "Night of the Eid," which portrays stories of women from different ages and different walks of life, including professional, personal and marital stories. The film covers a lot of ground, discussing issues like domestic violence, underage marriage, and female genital mutilation, among others. Starring alongside Sabry is veteran actress Yousra, who plays a rural woman married to Said Ragab, but the marriage turns violent after he becomes paralyzed. The film takes place in one day, from the day of the standing up to the first day of Eid, and follows the struggles of several women living on an island who are facing problems and crises because some men don't understand their rights. The movie was released on January 25th, 2018.
