Emam thanked Al-Sheikh for his support and enthusiasm for the film, and for his insistence on producing Arab films with international specifications. The film's director, Amr Salama, revealed to Emam that the events of "Shams Al-Zanati" take place before the first part of "Al-Zanati" with Adel Emam, telling the stories that occurred before the first film. The film features Mohamed Emam, Asmaa Galal, Amr Abdel Gelil, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Mustafa Greib, Khaled Anwar, Ahmed Abdullah Mahmoud, and Ahmed Abdel Hamid.
