Majid Almohandes, the Saudi Arabian singer, will perform in Riyadh on July 5 as part of the accompanying events to the Electronic Sports World Cup. The concert is part of his tour of the kingdom and will be held in the Mohammed Abdu Arena. Almohandes' latest music video, “Albdeaa,” has achieved over a million views within 48 hours of being posted on Rotana's YouTube channel. The video is from his new album of the same name. Its lyrics, written by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, describe love as something that cannot be purchased like merchandise, and that the heart is the prison of love and its ribs are its chains. Last month Almohandes announced a series of concerts across the Kingdom as part of his tour. The concerts will be held in many cities throughout the country, including Taif, Hail, Jizan and Dammam, until September 28. Tickets are already on sale, with prices ranging between SAR150 ($40) and SAR2,500.
