Egyptian singer Angham forged a strong bond with students during a performance at a private university in Kuwait, emphasising that artists are in a position to act as role models for young people. Angham urged the students to focus on making their parents proud and not forget the hard work involved in raising children. Her statement was praised by many on social media. Speaking at the event, Angham also wished a speedy recovery to fellow singer Abdullah Ruwaishid, who was in hospital recovering from fatigue but has since been released.
