The film's events revolve around (Sultan),a poor child who grows up and becomes a military correspondent for one of the major generals. He enjoys the kindness of (Issam),the police officer, the son of the general, unlike the rest of the family members who are cruel to him. He is forced to leave the general's house because his mother is sick, but she dies and he is unjustly accused. By stealing and abandoning service, he is punished by expulsion from the army and imprisonment. When he fails to prove his innocence, Sultan turns to the path of crime, so fate arranges for him an unwanted confrontation between him and the officer (Issam),whom he had always been sympathetic to before.
