Mustaqat, a philosophy teacher, rents a rooftop room in a popular neighborhood, gets fired from his job because he is accused of political activities, which forces him to become a professional charlatan and sorcerer, taking advantage of his mental intelligence and the ignorance of society until he becomes a well-known and wealthy man by setting him up against many people.
