After the death of her husband, Mona (Faten Hamama) bears the responsibility of raising her six children in addition to her work in the Ministry of Education. As the children grow up, their problems increase, and with them the burdens of their mother in education, especially as most of them reach adolescence, the relationship between her and them becomes strained, and at the same time, (Mona) is gradually in a love story with businessman Ahmed Raafat (Ahmed Mazhar),but she does not give in to her feelings easily because of her confusion between devoting herself to her children and thinking about her future with (Ahmed).
