On the wedding night of Muhammad (Shukri Sarhan) and Adeela (Souad Hosni),a letter arrives to Muhammad stating that he has been promoted and transferred to work in Jabal Ataqa. Her mother, Aziza (Mary Munib),opposes her daughter going with him to his workplace, so Muhammad travels alone. Adeela confronts her mother and joins her husband. He also gets married. Her brother Hassan (Hassan Youssef) is married to his beloved Mona (Amal Farid),despite the objection of her mother, who wants her to marry one of her relatives. Events continue between the husband, wife, and mother-in-law
