The Playout Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all playout and transmission activities to ensure the accurate, timely, and uninterrupted on-air execution of channel schedules. The role involves managing commercial schedules, playlists, transmission logs, and last-minute schedule changes while ensuring compliance with programming, advertising, and operational requirements. The Playout Supervisor works closely with Traffic, Scheduling, Programming, MCR, Engineering, and Broadcast Operations teams to maintain broadcast quality, resolve transmission issues, and ensure seamless channel operations. The position plays a critical role in delivering a reliable viewing experience, maximizing operational efficiency, and ensuring all content is broadcast according to approved schedules and technical standards.

Coordinate daily commercial and program playlists for transmission. Ensure accurate allocation and timing of commercials, promos, sponsorships, and secondary events. Work closely with Scheduling, Sales, MCR, Playout, and Programming teams. Verify transmission logs, commercial durations, and playlist accuracy. Handle last-minute schedule and commercial changes efficiently. Ensure all content and commercials are delivered before operational deadlines. Monitor campaign implementation and support reconciliation processes. Maintain traffic logs, reports, and operational documentation.

Experience in TV traffic, scheduling, broadcast operations, or media coordination is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Experience Experience with broadcast traffic and scheduling systems. Understanding of TV commercial operations and transmission workflows. Familiarity with playlist management and broadcast logs is a plus.
