The Media Ingest Operator is responsible for ingesting, verifying, organizing, and preparing media content for transmission and internal broadcast workflows. The role ensures that all media assets are accurately received, processed, cataloged, and made available for broadcast, production, archiving, and operational use. The Media Ingest Operator maintains content quality, metadata accuracy, and asset integrity throughout the ingest process while supporting efficient content workflows across the organization.

Transfer new materials to central storage. Index content and enter metadata. Monitor storage space and archive old content. Export materials to external stations when required.

Requirements Experience in media ingest, broadcast operations, or content management is preferred. Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and broadcast workflows. Familiarity with MAM systems, file-based workflows, and media servers is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 broadcast environment. Preferred Experience Experience with broadcast ingest and media management systems. Knowledge of QC procedures and broadcast technical standards. Understanding of transcoding, file transfer, and archive workflows.
