He sang in front of President Sadat and at...Read more the age of 15 the song "Ya Sadat," which was composed by the musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab. He is the son of musician Raouf El Ganainy. Hamdy became famous in the nineties through the song “Ala Nar Ala Nar,” which he sang in the Egyptian movie Witty Women (1991). He participated in several movies and plays, and he has recently turned to singing patriotic Arab songs.
