He...Read more graduated from the College of Agriculture at Cairo University in 1949 and worked as a radio broadcaster for several years while training as a composer like his uncle. In 1964 he traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj and end up staying there to work in radio for the next 20 years. Some of his famous songs include: “Wa Shek Wala El Amr” (Your Face Resembles the Moon) and “Alby El Aasy” (My Cruel Heart),“El Yomayn Dol” (Those Days),and “El Dunya Risha fi Hawa” (The World is a Feather in the Wind). He appeared in seven films but the most famous of his roles was in the film “Alamony El Hub” (They Taught Me Love) with Eman and Ahmed Ramzy in 1957.
