He obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Directing Department in 1985. He worked as an assistant director during his studies in a number of films, including Virgin & the White Hair (1983). He also directed video clips since 1989. He became known for Crystal (1993),which he directed and wrote.
