Chalom was an Egyptian comedian and actor who was born in 1900. He starred in many successful films in the 1930's including “Chalom Alriyady” ( Chalom the Sportsman) and “El Ezz...Read more Bahdala” (Wealth is Trouble). Around the same period he formed an acting duo with comedian Ahmed El Haddad, which was known as “Chalom and Abdo.” Chalom's stardom was short-lived, specifically due to the appearance of comedian Ali El Kassar. He died in 1948, aged 48.

Shalom, a lottery seller, and Abdo, a butcher boy, have a friendship that leads them to live together in one house. One day, the owner of the butcher shop dies, leaving the shop and all the money he owns to his boy, his servant. The only thing his servant had to do was divide the estate between him and his friend Shalom. Which helps each of them marry his fiancée, and each of them establishes their own business.
