Scriptwriter Ahmed Abdullah was born in Cairo on April 1, 1965. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University. He started working for the theater immediately after graduating, and presented The World of Cats, Alabanda, then Eye Doctor, before launching his cinematic career collaborating with star comedians in the first decade of the twentieth century, writing movies such as Abboud on the Borders and Karkar. In 2008, he started collaborating with director Sameh Abdel Aziz, presenting movies such as Cabaret, and The Wedding, and the series The Alley. Ahmed Abdullah writes poetry and has a published book, as well as some songs that were presented in his plays, in addition to a song by the late singer Thekra.
