Thereafter Hala transferred to Dream 2 which she headed. On Dream 2 Hala presented the program “Fee al-Mamnoo’” (“Forbidden”) which was a political program and amongst the first programs with a political focus to air on Arab satellite networks. Hala Sarhan has hosted Arab and Egyptian political personas on her shows and she has debated issues which others have seen as difficult to discuss on Arab television, something which has earned her praise as well as criticism.
